Loudoun United release 3rd jersey “Artisanal Kit”

Thursday morning saw Loudoun United release their third jersey, which they’ve dubbed the “Artisinal Kit”, which is next to their “Momentum” and “Community” kits for the 2026 season. I’ll have them take it away here:

“The kit is inspired by the local spaces where residents gather, particularly the region’s vineyards and breweries. Featuring a deep wine-toned base and a subtle hops pattern, the design reflects Loudoun’s winemaking and brewing traditions and offers a distinct departure from the club’s primary red-and-white look.
The release comes as the club continues to emphasize its connection to the local community, using the third kit as a platform to highlight the culture and businesses that shape the region. For fans, the kit provides a tangible link between matchday and the broader Loudoun experience, reinforcing the idea that the club represents more than what happens on the field.”
Loudoun is not the first pro team to wear a burgundy and orange scheme (D.C. United wore a one-off jersey in a match against the Columbus Crew shortly to honor the victims of the 2007 shooting at Virginia Tech), but does include a gradient of sorts in the vertical stripe. This is also the team’s first collared jersey if memory serves.
The team will wear the jersey for their home game Saturday against Birmingham, a game where they hope to win their first Regular Season game following their elimination in US Open Cup play Wednesday at Richmond.
